How Does Lumiere Work?

Lights... Camera... Insights!

Lumiere makes it easy to collect and understand audience reactions to your video content. There are three steps:

  1. Create your video

  2. Share it with your audience

  3. Analyze their reactions

Set up your video

Upload your content and add the feedback modes you want included. You're in control of which questions and reaction types show up for viewers.

To set up a video:

  1. Upload your video content to Lumiere.

  2. Add your feedback modes (like Persistent Comments+Slider, Prompted Questions, or Conversations).

  3. Configure your questions and reaction types.

  4. Preview the viewer-facing video to make sure everything works the way you want.

For step-by-step instructions, see Setting up a video. For details on the feedback modes available, see Viewer reactions.

Share your video

Once your video is set up, you'll get a viewer-facing URL you can send to your audience. A few ways to share:

  • Drop the URL into an email

  • Post it on social

  • Use it for online recruitment

For more on getting your video in front of an audience, see Sharing your video with an audience.

Analyze the responses

Once responses start rolling in, head to the Insights Dashboard. AI does the heavy lifting, helping you make sense of persistent reactions and question responses faster than ever.

In the dashboard, you'll find:

  • Feedback summaries

  • Scene analysis

  • Key moments

  • Dashboard filters

  • Trend lines

  • Heat maps

  • Key metrics

Everything you need to find the story in your data. For a full walkthrough, see Insights Dashboard.
