How do I export my video's raw data?

Download your video's raw data from the Insights Dashboard so you can analyze it in any tool you'd like.

Once your video has gathered data, you can download a Data Export from Lumiere as a CSV file. From there, you can analyze your data using whatever software or service works best for you.

Exporting Data

To download your data export:

  1. Open your video's Insights Dashboard.

  2. In the bottom-left corner, click the ... Options button.

  3. Select Export Data.

  4. Decide whether to apply your active filters.

  5. Click Export to download the file.

Your export will arrive as an Excel file with separate tabs for each part of your video:

  • Reactions

  • Questions

  • Viewer Information

Reaction Data

The columns in the Reactions tab will depend on the type of persistent reaction you used.

Comments +

For Comments, the reactions tab of your data exports will include a column for each of the following variables:

  • VideoID The Unique ID for that video

  • ViewID The Unique ID of a specific viewing experience

  • ID The unique ID associated with the Reaction in that row

  • eid (External ID) The Unique ID of the viewer whose data is displayed in that row

  • featureID The Unique ID of the persistent reaction feature used in that Video

  • createdAt The data and time a reaction was submitted

  • submittedAt The time (in seconds) of the Video that the reaction was submitted

  • prompt The Reaction prompt

  • comment The user’s submitted comment

  • rating The additional feedback Star or Slider rating left by the user (if applicable)

  • emoji The additional feedback emoji left by the user (if applicable)

  • sentiment The sentiment of the submitted comment: Positive / Negative / Neutral

  • keywords Keywords that may have been included in the submitted comment

  • positionX positionY The X and Y axis position of the user’s interaction on the video screen to submit their persistent reaction

  • scene The scene that the reaction was left in

  • AISummary A summary of the conversation conducted by Lumiere after that comment (if applicable)

  • ConversationPrompt_x The follow up question asked by Lumiere to the viewer (if applicable)

  • Response_x The response of the viewer to Lumiere during the conversations (if applicable)

Emojis

For Emoji Reactions, the Persistent Reaction tab of your data export will include a column for each of the following variables.

  • VideoID The Unique ID for that video

  • ViewID The Unique ID of a specific viewing experience

  • ID The unique ID associated with the Reaction in that row

  • eid (External ID) The Unique ID of the viewer whose data is displayed in that row

  • featureID The Unique ID of the persistent reaction feature used in that Video

  • createdAt The data and time a reaction was submitted

  • submittedAt The time (in seconds) of the Video that the reaction was submitted

  • scene The scene that the reactions was left in

  • prompt The Persistent Reaction prompt

  • emoji The Emoji type that was submitted

One Touch

For One Touch reactions, the Persistent Reaction tab of your data export will include a column for each of the following variables

  • VideoID The Unique ID for that video

  • ID The unique ID associated with the Reaction in that row

  • eid (External ID) The Unique ID of the viewer whose data is displayed in that row

  • featureID The Unique ID of the persistent reaction feature used in that Video

  • createdAt The data and time a reaction was submitted

  • submittedAt The time (in seconds) of the Video that the reaction was submitted

  • scene The scene that the reactions was left in

  • positionX positionY The X and Y axis position of the user’s interaction on the video screen to submit their persistent reaction

Question Data

The Data Export from the Lumiere video will have a tab for each question in your Lumiere Video.

  • VideoID The Unique ID for that video

  • ID The unique ID associated with the Question in that row

  • eid (External ID) The Unique ID of the viewer whose data is displayed in that row

  • featureID The Unique ID of the prompted question feature

  • createdAt The data and time a response was submitted

  • Timetocomplete The amount of time (in seconds) it too that response to be submitted

  • scene The scene that the question was featured in

  • prompt The Persistent Reaction prompt

  • AISummary A summary of the conversation conducted by Lumiere after that comment (if applicable)

  • ConversationPrompt_x The follow-up question asked by Lumiere to the viewer (if applicable)

  • Response_x The response of the viewer to Lumiere during the conversations (if applicable)

Viewers Data

The Views tab of the Data Export shows you the IDs that watched the video and their viewer-specific information.

  • ViewID

  • VideoID The Unique ID for that video

  • Duration The total amount of time watched by the user

  • eid (External ID) The Unique ID of the viewer whose data is displayed in that row

  • lastplayedtime The last time watched by the viewer before dropping off the video

  • featureID The Unique ID of the prompted question feature

  • createdAt The data and time a response was submitted

  • Timetocomplete The amount of time (in seconds) it too that response to be submitted

  • scene The scene that the question was featured in

  • prompt The Persistent Reaction prompt

  • country_name The country the viewer accessed your Lumiere video from

  • region_name the region within that country the viewer accessed your Lumiere video from

  • OS The operating system of the device the viewer used to access your Lumiere video

  • browser The internet browser used by the viewer to access your Lumiere video

  • browser_version The version of the internet browser used by the viewer to access your Lumiere video

  • referrer The referrer link used by the viewer to enter your Lumiere video

  • returnURL The return URL the viewer was sent to after completing the Lumiere video (if applicable)

  • device the type of device used by the viewer to access your Lumiere video

  • device_verndor The brand associated with the device the user accessed your Lumiere video with (if applicable)

  • device_model The model of the device used by the viewer to access your Lumiere video (if applicable)

Feedback Report

The feedback report makes it easy to see which of your viewers answered every question in your video. There's a column for each prompted question, and each row shows the date and time that EID submitted their response.
