Sharing Insights with a 3rd Party or Client

By sharing your dashboard or downloading analysis cards you can easily show off your video's insights.

There are a few methods of taking your Video's Insights and presenting them to a third party, such as a client or stakeholder.

Dashboard Sharing

There are a few ways to take your video's insights and present them to a third party β€” like a client, partner, or stakeholder.

To share your dashboard:

  1. Open your video's Insights Dashboard.

  2. Click the Share button in the top-right corner.

  3. Toggle on Share to Web.

  4. Copy the link and send it to anyone who needs access to your sick insights!

A Few Notes On Public Dashboards

Guest users (anyone not on your team) have limited permissions when viewing a public dashboard. These restrictions exist to protect your team's data:

  • Guest users can't navigate to the Setup page of your video.

  • Guest users can't navigate back to your content folder or main workspace.

  • The EID/ViewerID variable is hidden from the public dashboard. If you've saved an EID/ViewerID filter on your dashboard, it'll still be applied to the public view β€” guest viewers just won't see it listed under Filters.

Analysis Card Downloading

Every analysis card on your Insights Dashboard can be downloaded as a PNG or JPEG, making it easy to drop into a report, social post, or wherever else you need it.

Question Insight Downloading

Under the Questions tab of your dashboard, you'll find Question Insight cards for each question you added to your video. Like analysis cards, these can be downloaded and shared anywhere.

On-Video Feature Download

You can download on-video features straight from the video player β€” Persistent Reaction Trend Lines, Heat Map, Questions, the raw MP4 file, the audio transcript, and select video frames.

To download a video player item:

  1. Open your video's Insights Dashboard.

  2. Click the ... Options button in the bottom-right corner of the video player.

  3. Select the element you want to download.

When you're downloading on-video features like Trend Lines, Hotspots, or Questions, you'll also have additional options for what to include in your image β€” like the current video frame, the player controls, and more.

Data Exporting

If you'd rather use your own data management or visualization software, you can export your video's raw data and bring it into whatever tool you prefer.

To export your raw data:

  1. Open your video's Insights Dashboard.

  2. Click the Export button in the bottom-left corner.

  3. Use the Export menu to customize your export file.

For more information on our data export options and the included variables, see our article on data exports here.
