Overview
You can upload external survey data (CSV files with user IDs, responses, and filters) directly into Lumiere. That means your team can take advantage of Lumiere's insights dashboard even for studies you've run outside the platform.
How to import data
Create a
.CSVfile with your user IDs, questions or variables, and corresponding values. Format it like this:
user_id | question_or_variable_1 | question_or_variable_2 |
value | value | value |
value | value | value |
value | value | value |
Open your video's Insights Dashboard and click the ... button in the bottom-left corner.
Select Import Data.
Drag and drop your file into the pop-up window, or click Click to upload and select the file from your computer.
In the Mapping section on the next screen, label each field as one of the following:
User ID
Question (heads up: only open-text questions are supported right now)
Viewer Data
Under Import Title, you can rename each field if you'd like.
Click the purple Import button to finish.
*For now, only open text question types can be imported to Lumiere.
