Instructions
Multiple Choice
Text
Emoji
Hotspot
Slider
Stars
Get a closer look at each one below.
Instructions
Use the Instructions question type to give viewers prompts, context, guidance, or any other text they need during the viewing experience. A little extra context goes a long way β it helps viewers understand what they're watching and give more meaningful feedback on the questions that follow.
Multiple Choice
Multiple Choice questions let viewers pick from up to seven response options. You've got customization options like randomizing rows, adding an "Other" option, and more.
Slider Rating
Slider questions give viewers a prompt and a sliding scale, ranging from a minimum to a maximum value. Viewers slide the marker along the scale to indicate their rating.
Pro tip: Sliders are great for more than rating a moment. They work well for questions like:
"How likely are you to seek out more content like this?"
"How does this content affect your interest in this brand?"
Stars
Star questions give viewers a prompt and a rating scale of 3 to 10 stars. They select the number of stars that best reflects their opinion of the moment.
Hotspot
Hotspot questions let you place circular windows β called Hotspots β right on top of your video to highlight specific elements in the frame. Viewers tap the Hotspot that matches their answer.
β
Hotspots are a great fit when:
The visual is essential to understanding the question
You need to convey information that only really works visually
You want to make the viewing experience more engaging
A classic example: "Which of these characters do you like best?" (see below).
Emoji
Emoji Reaction questions are a quick way to capture viewers' emotional responses to specific moments. Because emojis cover a wide range of emotions, you can get more nuanced feedback than a yes/no. Making it easier to spot moments that hit hard (or fell flat).
Text
A flexible, open-ended question type where viewers answer in their own words. Best when you want unfiltered feedback.
