Introduction
Persistent Reactions let viewers react to your content at any moment during the video. By interacting with the video player, they leave their in-the-moment thoughts as they watch.
You can add one of three Persistent Reaction types to any video:
Persistent Comments
Persistent Emojis
Persistent One Touch
Persistent Comments
Persistent Comments let viewers type out their thoughts and attach them to specific moments in your video. It's a great way to gather detailed, specific feedback and gives viewers a way to engage more deeply with what they're watching.
Persistent Comments + Secondary Feedback
You can pair Persistent Comments with one of three secondary feedback options for richer feedback on specific moments:
Slider Rating
Stars
Emojis
Persistent Comments + Slider Rating
Pair comments with a sliding scale so viewers can rate specific moments β anywhere from a simple yes/no to a more detailed scale. Great for educational or instructional content where viewers might rate the effectiveness of a technique or concept shown in the video.
β
Persistent Comments + Stars
Similar to the Slider Rating, but with stars instead of a scale. Viewers rate moments by selecting a number of stars (you can set the range up to 10). A good fit if you want detailed feedback but prefer a star system over a slider.
Persistent Comments + Emojis
Let viewers tag their comments with emojis for added emotional context. You can pick up to 10 emojis that fit your content, and viewers choose from that set to color their feedback. Useful when you want a quick read on how viewers are reacting emotionally to specific moments.
Persistent Emojis
Persistent Emojis let viewers react using pre-selected emojis that fit your content or capture typical emotional responses. You can choose up to 10 for viewers to pick from throughout the video. It's a great way to get a quick emotional read without asking viewers to type out a full comment.
Persistent One Touch
Persistent One Touch lets viewers react with a single pre-selected emoji or icon. They can submit it at any point in the video β just one click. It's the fastest, lowest-friction reaction type, perfect when you want feedback without pulling viewers out of the content..
