Acceptable File Formats
Lumiere accepts nearly every type of video file format. Here is a complete list of file formats we accept:
.mov, .mpeg, .mpg, .ffmpeg, .avi, .flv, .fv4, .mp4, .m4v, .asf, .wmv, .vob, .mod, .3gp, .3gpp, .mkv, .divx, .xvid, .webm, and .quicktime.
'Add New' Button
You can upload a file from your desktop by clicking the + Add New button on the upper-right side of your main workspace.
Drag and Drop
As a shortcut, you can drag a video from your files and drop it into your main workspace. Your video will upload into the folder that you're currently inside.
Folders
Lumiere uses a folder structure similar to that of Mac iOS and Windows. To organize your work, you’ll create parent folders that branch off into subsequent child folders.
Creating New Folders
To create a new parent folder:
Click the
+Plus button in the left-side navigation panelA new Untitled folder will be created in the left-side navigation panel
To create a new nested folder:
Navigate to the parent folder that you want your new folder to live in
Click the
+Add New button in the top right corner of the main workspace
Folder Actions
Hover over a folder and Select ⋮ Options to bring up the actions menu.
Under Options, you can Rename your folder, Move it to a new location, Add to Favorites, or Delete the folder and everything within it. Multi-select items to bulk edit.
